In the first collaboration between STUDIO V Architecture and Rivington Co, we reimagining a decommissioned Catholic church at 53 Catherine Street in Manhattan’s Two Bridges neighborhood. This ambitious adaptive reuse project unites a richly layered site—including a former sanctuary, classroom levels above, and an adjacent rectory—into a cohesive new vision. Through innovative design strategies, STUDIO V is transforming the historic complex into a dynamic space that honors its architectural legacy while introducing vibrant new uses for the community.
